Overview

The "Logger" is an internal page for use during Ingest and transcode QC.

Next to the video preview window there will be, up to, ten tabs:

• AQC - presents a list of black slugs found in the video that are over 2 seconds in duration; can jump video play directly to the regions in question
• HQC - set TC in and out and add messages for fails/QC comments
• Language Detect - present a list of channels and the language detected during ingest; results can be used to apply output channel mappings
• Metadata - exposes source file name, any content considerations, regional metadata language, localise & EN translations of series & episode summaries
• Logger - present the original logger functionality, where a clip log of regions to keep can be created that will be used when the video asset is transcoded; also allows mapping of audio channels
• Screen Grab - specify a timecode for a screengrab to be pulled from; displays the generated grabs for approval during transcode qc
• Break Markers - display and/or add break markers
• CC AQC - presents the results of the auto qc that is run against sidecar closed caption files
• WebVTT - view and edit contents of WebVTT closed caption deliverable; opens CCC project
• Frame Cap - capture frame for queries or fails
