Health & Healthcare Policy¶
FooEngine is committed to supporting employee health and wellbeing. This policy explains FooEngine's approach to healthcare provision and where employees can access support.
UK Healthcare¶
FooEngine is a UK-based employer. Employees resident in the UK access healthcare primarily through the NHS.
FooEngine does not provide private medical insurance as a standard benefit unless explicitly stated in an employee's contract.
Support Through Work¶
Where health issues affect work, employees are encouraged to speak with their line manager or senior management. Support may include:
- Reasonable adjustments (where appropriate)
- Flexible working arrangements
- Occupational health input (where appropriate)
These will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Medical Appointments¶
Reasonable flexibility will be provided for medical appointments, subject to business needs. Employees should inform their line manager in advance where possible.
Travel for Work¶
Where business travel is required, employees are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate medical cover for the destination.
Reasonable travel insurance costs may be reimbursed in line with the Travel Expenses Policy, where agreed in advance.
Confidentiality¶
Health information is sensitive personal data. Any health details shared with FooEngine will be handled sensitively and in confidence, and processed in line with our Data Protection Policy.
