Source Acquisition¶
Things you'll need:
- Slack Channel - acs-incoming
- pluto-gcd-tracker Airtable View
- GCD Agenda (Incognito)
- Twingate Authentication
- AWS Instances Permissions
- Glim log in
The GCD PM Agenda reflects the status of pending files for the associated media orders. When a file is delivered and you're notified via Slack follow these steps to ingest:
AQC Status
When the file appears in 'registered_today' it will hopefully begin AQC. If the asset type is 'audio' ignore the following steps as this step is only for videos.
- 'complete' with aqc job id = Successful AQC
- 'in progress' with aqc job id = Hybrik Job In Progress
If the above two statuses are not assigned the AQC has errored or not initiated:
- 'error' with aqc job id and status msg
pipeline error: OTT::video decode error: too many errors (1) at= liaise with Sam/Arran - potentially corrupt - all fields empty = AQC needs manually starting. Try changing the status to 'pending' if no success liaise with Sam/Arran
- pending with no aqc job id = AQC needs manually starting. Try removing the 'pending' status
- stuck in progress with aqc job id = remove status and id, set back to pending
Once the AQC is complete the asset needs setting up ready for Logging. As you'll see in the videos each asset needs opening in Glim to check for a slate and the spoken language. The following videos are tagging an English Episode for a GB media order and an English Feature for a German Media Order (to be conformed with German audio) where there's no screengrab present:

Replacements
If an asset has been redelivered to replace a previously rejected file follow the same steps as above with the added input of entering the asset id into the 'replacement_for' column.
