Equipment¶
FooEngine provides the equipment you need to do your job effectively. This typically includes:
- A computer
- Headphones
- Webcam
- An external monitor, keyboard, mouse, and related peripherals (where required)
- Monitor arms
- Any other equipment reasonably required to work effectively
All company equipment is recorded in a secure internal asset register and computers are remotely managed via MDM.
If Your Equipment Breaks¶
If equipment fails, the priority is getting you back up and running quickly.
- Notify your manager as soon as possible if you're unable to work
- Raise an urgent equipment request for repair or replacement
- Temporary replacement devices may be available
Computer equipment is leased, the same company also provides support on these machines. This includes shipping temporary replacement equipment if needed during repair. If this is needed you will be put in contact with their support team who will arrange shipping etc.
Leaving FooEngine¶
Any equipment purchased or leased by FooEngine remains company assets.
When you leave:
- You may be offered the option to keep your equipment by paying its book value, or
- You may be asked to return it, depending on circumstances
This decision is made case-by-case and may consider:
- Length of tenure
- Age and value of the equipment
- Reason for leaving
Computers will be remotely wiped via the MDM.
