Welcome To FooEngine!¶
We're a fully remote, cloud-native media operations company focused on building smarter, cleaner and more reliable media supply chains. We work with broadcasters, platforms and content owners around the world to solve complex operational challenges — but at our core, we're a team of people who care about doing things properly, treating each other well, and delivering excellent work.
This handbook sets out how we work together at FooEngine. It explains the policies, processes and expectations that support a fair, safe and productive working environment for everyone.
It applies to all employees of FooEngine Limited unless otherwise stated. Some sections may also apply to long-term contractors where relevant.
Purpose of this Handbook¶
This handbook exists to:
- Provide clarity on how FooEngine operates day-to-day
- Set out expectations of behaviour and performance
- Explain employee benefits and leave entitlements
- Describe how we handle issues fairly and consistently
- Ensure we meet our legal and regulatory obligations
- Support a healthy, respectful and inclusive workplace
It is designed to be practical and easy to use. Most questions you have during your time at FooEngine should be answered somewhere in this document.
Our Way of Working¶
FooEngine is a remote-first company. We do not operate physical offices. Our workplace exists online — in Slack, Sense HR, Google Workspace, project tools, and video calls. This means:
- We trust people to manage their time responsibly
- We communicate clearly and respectfully
- We support flexible working where possible
- We focus on outcomes, not presenteeism
Remote working gives us access to global talent — and requires mutual trust, accountability and professionalism.

Using This Handbook¶
- Policies in this handbook do not form part of your employment contract unless explicitly stated
- FooEngine may update policies as the company evolves
- Where local law provides greater rights than a policy here, local law applies
- If anything is unclear, speak to your manager or People & Operations
